Subscription Billing

ReceiptScript offers subscription plans billed on a recurring basis through Stripe, our payment processor. When you subscribe to a paid plan, you are charged immediately for the current billing period.

  • •Monthly plans: Charged every 30 days from the date of subscription.
  • •Annual plans: Charged every 12 months from the date of subscription.
  • •Proration: If you upgrade or downgrade your plan mid-cycle, the difference will be prorated and applied to your next billing cycle.
  • •Currency: All charges are processed in USD (or your local currency equivalent) at the current exchange rate.

Billing Transparency

You will receive an email receipt for every charge. Your billing history is also available in your account settings.
2.

Auto-Renewal

All ReceiptScript subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default. This ensures uninterrupted access to the platform and its features.

  • •Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually).
  • •The renewal charge will be applied to the same payment method used for the original subscription.
  • •You will receive an email notification before each renewal, allowing you to cancel if you no longer wish to continue.
  • •If your payment method fails during renewal, we will retry the charge and notify you by email.

Grace Period

If your payment method fails during renewal, your account will enter a 7-day grace period. During this time, you can update your payment information. If no payment is received after the grace period, your account will be downgraded to the free plan.
3.

Cancellation

You can cancel your ReceiptScript subscription at any time from your account settings:

  • •Effective date: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will retain access to all paid features until then.
  • •No partial refunds: Cancelling mid-cycle does not result in a partial refund for the remaining days. You will continue to have access until the end of your paid period.
  • •Downgrade to free: After cancellation, your account will be downgraded to the free plan with limited features and storage.
  • •Data retention: Your templates and data will be retained for 30 days after downgrade. You can re-subscribe during this period to restore full access.

Notice

You can re-subscribe at any time from your account settings. Previous templates and data will be available if you re-subscribe within the 30-day retention period.
4.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The following guidelines apply:

  • •14-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with ReceiptScript within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, you may request a full refund.
  • •Annual plans: Annual subscriptions are eligible for a prorated refund within the first 14 days. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
  • •Monthly plans: Monthly subscriptions are eligible for a refund only within the first 14 days. Subsequent months are non-refundable.
  • •Credit purchases: Purchased credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Exclusions

Refunds are not available for: (a) accounts that have violated the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy; (b) accounts terminated due to fraudulent activity; (c) charges incurred after the 14-day refund window; (d) partial months or unused portions of a billing cycle.
