Copyright & Uploaded Content

This policy explains the ownership rights and terms regarding content uploaded to ReceiptScript. We respect intellectual property rights and are committed to protecting the rights of both our users and third parties.

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to ReceiptScript, including but not limited to:

• •HTML email templates and template fragments
• •.EML email files imported into the platform
• •Images, logos, brand assets, and other visual assets
• •CSS stylesheets, JavaScript code, and other code assets
• •Variable data, template configurations, and metadata
• •Generated content, receipts, and rendered output

By uploading content to ReceiptScript, you do not transfer ownership of your content to us. Your content remains your intellectual property, and you retain all rights associated with it.

By uploading any content to ReceiptScript, you represent and warrant that:

• •You own the content: You are the rightful owner of the content, or you have been granted the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to upload and use it.
• •No infringement: Your content does not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• •Legal content: Your content does not violate any applicable laws, regulations, or contractual obligations.
• •Privacy compliance: If your content contains personal data, you have the right to process and upload it under applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• •License to use: You grant ReceiptScript a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

ReceiptScript explicitly does not claim any ownership rights over your uploaded content. We do not:

• •Claim copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights over your templates or assets.
• •Use your content for our own marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes without your explicit consent.
• •Train AI models on your uploaded templates or content.
• •Share your content with third parties for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
• •Sell, license, or distribute your content to third parties.
• •Use your content as part of our own products or services (other than the ReceiptScript Service itself).

ReceiptScript only stores and processes your content in order to provide the service you requested. Specifically:

• •Storage: Your templates, images, and assets are stored securely using Cloudflare R2 or equivalent secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest.
• •Processing: We process your content to provide features such as template editing, variable detection, AI-assisted suggestions, preview rendering, and export.
• •Display: Your content is displayed within your account for your use. It is not displayed publicly or to other users unless you explicitly choose to share it.
• •Security measures: We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption, access controls, and monitoring, to protect your content from unauthorized access.
• •Data deletion: When you delete content or your account, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except for data required for legal or audit purposes.

ReceiptScript does not:

• •Read or review your content for purposes other than providing the Service or as required for security and compliance.
• •Use your content to train, improve, or fine-tune AI models.
• •Analyze your content for marketing research or competitive intelligence.
• •Transfer your content to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., cloud storage providers) or as required by law.
